Set
the
function
switch
to
the
W
position.
2.
Ensure
that
the
meter
is
set
to
active
power
measurement.
If
the
or
the
indicator
is
displayed,
press
the
MODE
button
repeatedly
until
none
of
these
indicators
are
displayed.
3.
Take
three
measurements
of
the
active
power,
in
accordance
with
Figure
5.5.
4.
To
measure
and
display
the
power
factor,
press
the
MODE
button
repeatedly
until
the
indicator
is
displayed.
5.
Read
the
power
factor
value
on
the
display.
If
the
value
is
displayed
without
a
sign,
the
phase
of
the
current
signal
is
lagging
behind
the
voltage
signal
(inductive
load).
If
the
value
is
displayed
with
a
minus
sign
(–),
the
phase
of
the
current
signal
is
leading
the
voltage
signal
(capacitive
load).
6.
To
return
to
active
power
measurements,
press
the
MODE
button
repeatedly
until
neither
the
nor
the
indicator
is
displayed.
