Flinn Mini Magnetic Stirrer
Owner’s Manual
Please read and adhere to all recommendations in this manual to ensure the best experience and to maintain your magnetic stir-
rer in good working order. This owner’s manual is for the following model: AP8503.
Unpacking, Assembly and Storage
1. The magnetic stirrer and accessories have been carefully packed to assure they reach you in the best possible condition.
Retain the packaging in case you need to transport, store or return the magnetic stirrer. If it becomes necessary to ship the
magnetic stirrer for any reason, pack it in the original packaging and then in another box, secured for transport. Inadequate
shipping may result in damage to your magnetic stirrer.
2. Lay the molded magnetic stirrer container with the top facing you. Remove the top piece and inspect the contents. Each
magnetic stirrer comes with the following:
a. Power cord
b. Magnetic stirrer
3. Connect the included power supply to the device.
4. Store magnetic stirrers in a dry, clean place away from direct sunlight.
Description of Components

1. Mini Magnetic Stirrer: Unit includes five buttons; On/Off, Timing, Mode/Up Arrow, Rev/Down Arrow, Start/Stop. Bed

a. On/Off Button: Powers the stirrer on and off.
b. Timing Button (00:30–90:00): Default time of 10 minutes. Adjust time in minutes and seconds using up and down
arrows.
c. Mode/Up Arrow: Change stirring option from forward and reverse mode to one-way mode.
d. Rev/Down Arrow: Adjusts the rotate speed. Speeds 1–5.
e. Start/Stop: Activates the magnetic stirrer. Red light shows the unit is on but is not spinning. Green light indicates that
the unit is on and spinning.
2. Power Adapter: AC power adapter plugs into the magnetic stirrer with a cord that plugs into an electrical outlet.
