Option 2
The ‘stand-alone’ network of the FAMM is connected to the existing internal company network using a
switch or hub. This way, the FAMM is integrated in to the total company network. Jobs can be located on
the company server. Which in most cases is never switched off. Multiple SAMMs can access the same
database of jobs.
Disadvantage of option 1 compared to option 2 is that if the jobs are stored locally there are
no automatic backups of the jobs.
