AFETY
4.1. Safety regulations for scissor-type lift tables
General
Operation only by trained and designated adults.
Eliminate dangers for persons or property before working on the lift table / load.
Observe safety clearances (50 cm) to surrounding objects.
Only install lift table on even, level floor with sufficient load capacity.
Compensate level differences up to max. 10 mm (resurfacing, fixed-point bearing / base plates)
Only use lift table as loading device with floor frame or floor anchoring.
Only load lift table with stated type of load and load distribution.
Only move lift table when not loaded
Secure load on the platform.
Shutdown lift table in the case of faults / safety defects.
and secure against unauthorised use.
Check the safety devices regularly.
Keep the operating instructions near the lift table
Apply safety instructions (enclosed, yellow sticker) in the vicinity of the lift table.
The following are prohibited
Conveyance of persons
Riding on the platform (only for setting up an operator station)
Working on the load during the lifting process
Climbing on the load or platform
Staying underneath the platform / load
Reaching into the lift table / scissor mechanism
Exceeding the maximum load-bearing capacity
Using unsuitable pallet types
Load overhang on one side
Misuse as a load press
Conversions / modifications of the lift table
Installation / operation outdoors (only in the case of corresponding equipment)
Operating the lift table with unlocked rotary platform
Operating the lift table without safety devices / foot protection contact strip
Dangers
Never disable dead man circuit.
DANGER OF FATAL INJURY
Never disable foot protection contact strip.
Release operating button immediately in the case of danger
Press EMERGENCY STOP button
Leave the danger area immediately in the case of a falling or tipping load
Do not expose live parts to moisture.
Hydraulic oil can cause skin rashes / damage to health
Replace damaged parts immediately.
Repair and maintenance work
Only by authorised specialist personnel
Only in unloaded condition and when disconnected from the power and depressurised.
Only when safety supports are used
Prevent start-up during maintenance / repairs.
Wear protective gloves and face protection.
Have the machine checked at least once per year by experts
Service hydraulics components regularly
