8.2 Care of the control cabinet or DX site server
Caring for the control cabinet and the DX Site-Server is limited to a weekly clean-
ing of all surfaces from dust and other residues.
NOTICE
Material damage due to improper cleaning
Improper cleaning of the control cabinet or DX site server can lead to malfunc-
tions and damage.
•
Do not select an aggressive cleaning agent that attacks metal and plastic surfaces as
well as hose connections.
•
Do not clean sensitive components with coarse brushes and strong mechanical pres-
sure. Do not use linting cleaning cloths.
•
Do not clean the control cabinet and DX Site-Server with a water jet or high-
pressure cleaner.
Appropriate care helps to maintain the control cabinet and DX Site-Server and
keep them in a functional condition in the long term.
• Remove dust from the outside of the control cabinet and DX Site-Server with
dry blowing air (< 5 bar) or suction air with the aid of a brush. Do not forget the surface
of the roof plates above.
• Carefully clean the ventilation attachments of the fields and ventilation slots of the doors
with suction air only, so as not to blow the dust inside the panel.
• In case of heavy contamination, dismantle the ventilation attachment and clean the indi-
vidual parts.
