7.2.2 Inspection
The fan is to be inspected at least once
a year.
7.2.3 Checking the Motor Bearings
The motors are meant to be operated in
dry or humid air at a normal ambient
temperature. The motor bearings have
to be lubricated in accordance with the
instructions that accompany the motor.
Replacements of bearings are to be
done in accordance with the motor
manufacturers instructions.
7.2.4 Impeller
The maximum permissible vibration
level measured from the motor bearing
is 7.1 mm/s
The impeller can be cleaned using a
vacuum cleaner, compressed air or by
brushing. If the impeller is coated with
greasy dirt, it can be washed with a
detergent or a solvent.
The cleaning is done if necessary, but a
control inspection should be done at
least once a year. Badly tarnished
impeller will result in lower efficiency of
the fan and increases energy
consumption.
If the impeller is getting dirty,
protection is not good enough and
a risk of ignition may follow. (can
cause an ignition risk)
7.3 Replacing the Motor And the Impeller
The fan will have to be disconnected
from the unit before the motor can be
replaced.
1. Disconnect the electrical cables
from the motor terminals.
2. Dismantle the fan (including the
anti-vibration mountings, if needed)
from the unit.
3. Dismantle the motor from the motor
mount.
4. Remove the impeller from the
motor shaft by removing the clamp
screw.
5. Use an extraction tool to pull the
impeller off the shaft (the motor can be
moved backwards if needed, take care
so the motor won’t drop down).
6. Mount a new motor on the motor
bracket, do not tighten.
7.2.2 Kontrolle
Der Ventilator muß mindestens
halbjährlich kontrolliert werden.
7.2.3 Motorlager
Motoren sind geeignet zum Betrieb in
normalen Umgebungstemperaturen.
Motorlager sind nachzuschmieren wie
in Anleitung des Motorherstellers
angegeben. Austausch der Motorlager
sind gemäß die Anleitung des
Motorhersteller durchzuführen.
7.2.4 Laufrad
Die max. Zulässige Vibrations-
geschwindigkeit ist 7.1 mm/s.
Das Laufrad läßt sich mit einem
Staubsauger, mit Druckluft oder mit
Bürsten reinigen. Bei fetthaltige
Staubablagerung am Laufrad ein
geeignetes Reinigungsmittel oder
Lösungsmittel verwenden. Die Rei-
nigung des Laufrades ist im Bedarfsfall
durchzuführen, aber eine Kontrolle ist
mindestens einmal pro Jahr zu
machen. Ein verschmutztes Laufrad
reduziert den Wirkungsgrad und erhöht
dadurch den Stromverbrauch.
Bei verschmutztem Laufrad ist
Funkenschutz niedriger und es
besteht ein Gefahr für
Funkenbildung.
7.3 Austausch des Motors und
des Laufrades
Der Ventilator ist von dem Klima-
Lüftungsgerät auszubauen bevor die
Demontage des Motors möglich ist.
1. Die elektrischen Leitungen vom
Motor losmachen.
2. Den Ventilator und ggf.
Schwingungsdämpfer von der
Anlage ausbauen.
3. Den Motor von der Motorkonsole
ausbauen und mit einem Stopp
stützen.
4. Die Klemmschraube der Motorwelle
abschrauben, damit das Laufrad
abgezogen werden kann.
5. Laufrad mittels eines Abziehers
abziehen. (Erforderlichenfalls kann
der Motor ein bißchen rückwärts
geschoben werden.)
