for operation at all times, regardless of the position of the main switch, providing a
battery is connected to the circuit. The bilge pump activates when the sensor has
been fully submerged for five seconds and deactivates when the sensor no longer
detects water. The pump may also be driven manually using the spring-loaded switch
on the switch panel.
The boat is also equipped with a manual bilge pump located beneath the rear seat
cover midship. The capacity of the manual bilge pump is 40.5 litres per minute when
the pump is operated at 45 cycles per minute.
The suction ports of the bilge pumps are positioned as close as possible to the
bottom plate. It is, however, natural that the bilge always contains a small quantity of
water that the bilge pumps cannot remove. The drainage ports of the bilge pumps are
located on the starboard side of the transom.
You should check the suction port of the electric bilge pump at regular intervals and
remove any debris. The pump can be accessed through the service hatch in the
engine pit.
WARNING
The bilge pump is not designed to control flooding caused by
running aground or by any other structural damage.
NB
Check the functioning of the bilge pump at regular intervals.
Clean the pump's suction port of all debris.
5.6.3
Stability and buoyancy
The Buster's stability is excellent thanks to its hull shape and its balanced mass
distribution. You should always bear in mind, however, that large breaking waves
significantly increase the risk of capsizing.
Please also note that any load placed above floor level reduces the boat's stability.
All changes in the mass distribution affect the boat's stability, design trim and
performance. The original interior arrangement and mass distribution may not be
altered without the builder's authorisation.
You should keep the quantity of water in the bilge and on the cockpit floor at a
minimum, since freely moving water always reduces stability.
Also bear in mind that towing or being towed may decrease the stability of the craft.

Engine and fuel system
The Buster SuperMagnum has a fixed fuel tank of 250 litres. The fuel filler cap is
located at the rear right of the boat beneath the cover of a lockable rope box. Stop
the engine and extinguish any naked flames and cigarettes before filling the fuel tank.
