Your child must fi rst learn how
to stop using the heel brake on these skates.
While leaning forward, bend at the knees and
tilt the braking skate (with the heel brake) toe
up. Apply pressure to the heel brake. The heel
brake stops your skater gradually.
Please be
sure your skater keeps this in mind and
always allows enough stopping distance.
Proper care and maintenance is important! Over
time the heel brake will wear down. If the heel
brake is worn, it’s time to replace it! Please visit
