car seat facing the front of the vehicle. You must install the car
seat in the rear-facing position to avoid serious neck injuries in a
sudden stop or crash.

allow the shoulder straps to be loose around your child.
If the shoulder straps are not snug against your child, your child
will not be properly restrained.

dress your child in clothing that interferes with position-
