Installing the new Scanner Electronics Assembly
6. Add a small amount of removable thread locking compound (e.g. Loctite Blue #242) to the
three screw holes in the CEX housing base.
7. Position the new scanner electronics assembly into the CEX housing base.
8. Align the three Allan head bolts with the threaded holes on the CEX housing base and torque
to 30 inch-pounds (3.39 Newton-meters).
9. Reconnect the scanner cable wires to the two terminal strips on the electronics assembly.
10. Position the original fiber insulating paper around the electronics (Refer to picture in step 3),
and reinstall the CEX housing cover.
