1. MAKE SURE GAS VALVE CONTROL KNOB ON APPLIANCE IS IN THE
OFF
POSITION
2. TURN ‘PLAIN VIEW’ EMERGENCY SHUT-OFF VALVE TO
ON
OR
OPEN
POSITION
3. LOCATE PILOT LIGHT ON BURNER & PILOT SIGHTING TUBE INSIDE APPLIANCE
4. TURN GAS VALVE CONTROL KNOB ON APPLIANCE TO
LOW
POSITION
5. PUSH RED BUTTON FOR PILOT & HOLD
6. IMMEDIATELY PUT TORCH INSIDE PILOT SIGHTING TUBE & IGNITE PILOT. CONTINUE TO
HOLD RED PILOT BUTTON DOWN FOR 30 SECONDS UNTIL PILOT STAYS LIT
7. RELEASE BUTTON & REMOVE TORCH FROM SIGHTING TUBE. MAKE SURE PILOT STAYS LIT
8. TURN GAS VALVE CONTROL KNOB ON APPLIANCE SLOWLY TO
HIGH
POSITION
9. ADJUST FLAME HEIGHT TO PREFERENCE
IF BURNER DOES NOT LIGHT OR YOU SMELL OR HEAR GAS, IMMEDIATELY TURN GAS VALVE CONTROL
KNOB ON APPLIANCE TO OFF POSITION.
TO PUT OUT APPLIANCE:
1. TURN ‘PLAIN VIEW’ SHUT-OFF VALVE TO
OFF
OR
CLOSED
POSITION.
2. WAIT FOR GAS TO BURN OUT OF LINE.
3. TURN GAS VALVE CONTROL KNOB ON APPLIANCE TO
OFF
POSITION.
ALWAYS SHUT DOWN IN THIS MANNER: GAS LINE FIRST, APPLIANCE SECOND.
TO RE-LIGHT BURNER, WAIT 5 MINUTES AFTER A COMPLETE SHUT-OFF.

BE USED. THIS REGULATOR IS SET FOR AN OUTLET PRESSURE OF 11” WATER COLUMN
FOR LP & 6” WATER COLUMN FOR NG.
