3.6 SAFETY DEVICES
This machine is provided of the following safety systems.
Jack
(pic. 3.1), used similarly for the battery charger. In case of emergency, it can be kept away
from the plug acting on the handle. Before using the machine, the operator must know the safety system
use, in such a way as in case of necessity it can act automatically. Never re-establish the system before the
problem has been resolved, if necessary helped by a technician.
No-crushing security :
this machine, to avoid accidental crushings in reverse driving, is equipped
with (pic. 3.2) a large lever , that keeping in contact with the chest of the operator, stops immediately
driving and goes forward, in such a way as avoiding or reducing at minimum possibilities of collision
due to wrong manoeuvres.
3.8. RESIDUAL DANGERS
FIORENTINI has analysed any kind of danger in using the machine to eliminate, or at less to reduce,
accidents to operators, since the projecting phase. To reduce these risks we provided to inform the operators
through signals and showing means and procedures to be adopted.
Crushing risks may come from :
regulation of scrubbing brushes;
regulation of the squeegee;
When regulating the brushes and the squeegee we recommend to be sure that the ignition key is
kept away from the control board to avoid casual switchings.
Special pictograms are placet on brushes covers and on the back side of the tank (pic.4.7)
