Q: The water is coming out dirty/gray aer I installed the filter. Is this
normal?
A: Yes that is normal. There is a carbon block inside the filter and sometime
during shipping the filter gets knocked around and some of that carbon
gets loose. If you drain 2-3 gallons, the water will become clear.
Q: Aer installing a new filter element, the water flow rate is slower.
What should I do?
A: Don't worry, the filtered water is cleaner. We use activated carbon
from Sri Lanka. The carbon rod is a honeycomb hole of uniform size,
which can better intercept the particles in the water.
