The Q1000 ll has been designed for professional studio and location applications and may only
be operated by qualified persons.

first time. They contain important information on the operation of Fiilex lighting equipment.

• Powering on the Q1000 II
Insert the XLR 3-Pin connector into the Power Input (19). Plug the AC connector into a wall
socket. The On/Off Button (20) will illuminate red to indicate it is in stand by mode. Press the
On/Off Button (20) to turn on the light. The On/Off Button (20) will turn green to indicate it is
working properly.
• Mounting the Q1000 II
The Q1000 II can be mounted to baby and/or junior stands with the (7) Junior Pin Receiver.
Secure the light by tightening the Stand Locking Pin (8).
• Positioning the Q1000 II
Loosen the Yoke Knob (10) to adjust the Q1000 II to the desired position. Tighten the Yoke Knob
(10) to secure.
• DMX Interface
The Q1000 II connects to DMX signals via 5-pin XLR ports. The interface includes in/out ports for
daisy-chaining the DMX line.
• USB Interface
The Q1000 II is equipped with a mini USB Port (18) for updating the firmware. The port also
provides 5V 1A power for wireless DMX antennas. Please register your product at
www.fiilex.com to be informed when firmware updates are available.
