Secure Figure Grilles
Place a grille in its respective location, and feed nylon ties
through the drilled holes and closest loop. Loosely fasten
each tie, position the grille and then tighten each tie tightly.
Finish by cutting the tails of the ties off.
2.3)
Install Assembled Bumper Cover
Position each clip of the bumper cover in its respective hole
and then press in. You will hear and feel the clips snap into
place. Finally, plug each light back in and close the hood.
3) Lower Grille Installation
3.1)
Remove the lower bumper cover
There are a total of 8 bolts that holds the lower bumper
cover on. 4 are under the truck and 4 are between the
radiator and the bumper (access is easy with the upper grille
removed). With these eight bolts removed you will be able
to slide the bumper and lower valance off the truck.
3.2)
Remove the fog lights (if applicable)
If your vehicle is equipped with fog lights, these will need to
be removed before the bumper can be removed from the
vehicle. Unbolt the fog light brackets and remove both
complete assemblies.
3.3)
Remove the lower valance.
There are eleven push clips that need to be removed. Four
on the left side, three in the middle and four on the right side.
With all the push clips removed, with a pair of pliers squeeze
the tabs and push them thru the bumper.
3.4)
Prepare bumper for lower grille installation.
Mark and drill four pairs 1/8” holes into the lower bumper for
the pull ties to hold the lower grill in place (see Figure 4).
