Setting up IPP printing with Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003
With Internet Printing Protocol (IPP), print jobs are sent to the Fiery EX2101 over
the Internet.
IPP printing is supported directly for Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 computers.
IPP printing is not supported on Windows NT 4.0.

Prepare the Fiery EX2101 for TCP/IP printing.

Make sure the Fiery EX2101 is configured for IPP printing.

On Windows 2000, click Start, choose Settings, and then choose Printers.
On Windows XP, click Start, and choose Printer and Faxes.

Double-click the Add Printer icon and click Next.

Select Network printer and click Next.
4.
Select “Connect to a printer on the Internet or on your intranet.” Enter an IP address
or computer name in the URL window.
The URL for the printer is the IP address, or DNS name, followed by “ipp” and the
connection you want to print to (

hold
, or
direct
). Insert slashes between the
different elements, for example,
http://10.10.10.150/ipp/print
