5. ASSEMBLY

Certain parts of the lawnmower were disassembled for transportation purposes. For this reason, you will fi nd 2 
thumb nuts, 2 bolts with a square head and 2 cable clamps against pulling packed in plastic bags. The grass 
ejection fl ap, the grass catcher, the holder and the cover of the grass catcher are in a box. The assembly is simple 
if you adhere to the following instructions:

5.1 FITTING / REMOVING / EMPTYING THE GRASS CATCHER.

  Insert the handle into the grass catcher cover. See Fig. 2-1.
  Assemble the grass catcher from the left and right halves. See Fig. 2-2.
  Insert the top grass catcher cover with the fi tted handle into the grass catcher and then turn it. See Fig. 2-3.
  Connect the top grass catcher cover to the grass catcher. See Fig. 2-4.
  Place the plate of the ejection chute into the grass catcher. See Fig. 2-5.
  Lift the cover (9), hold it and mount the grass catcher (16). See Fig. 2-9.
  Lift the cover (9) and hold it. Remove the grass catcher (16).

Note

: To use the lawnmower without grass collection, it may be used without the grass catcher (16).

The safety cover (9) in the vertical position then acts to direct the grass clippings. They are lined up in the 
following way behind the lawnmower. 

5.2 HANDLE

  Lift the bottom part of the handle (8) and secure it in place using the quick coupling nut (15) on either side. 

See Fig. 2-6 and Fig. 2-7.

  Using the bolts and the thumb nuts (7), fasten the top part of the handle (1) to the bottom handle (8). See Fig. 

2-8.

Note

: the handle can be folded for storage purposes. See Fig. 2-6.

5.3 EXTENSION CORD / SECURING THE POWER CORD

Insert the plug of the lawnmower into the socket on the power cord. To prevent the power cord from 
disconnecting during operation, guide the power cord through the power cord holder. See Fig. 3.
