5  Emergency unlocking

The force lock opens automatically if the crimp procedure completes in full. In case the crimp 

procedure needs to be interrupted, the force lock can be released with a suitable tool (e.g. 

screwdriver). (figure 7)

4  Application / Crimping prodedure

·  Open the tool

·  Select the necessary positioner, lift it and turn it in the right position until it locks (figure 2)

·  Insert the HFBR connector in the corresponding position (figure 3)

·  To avoid turning the HFBR-connector close the tool until the connector is held tightly

·  Lift the locking lever and turn until it clicks into place in the upper position (figure 4)

·  Insert the prepared wire to the stop and hold tight (figure 5)

·  Press the handles together until the compulsory lock is released and the connector has  

  been crimped

·  Tool opens automatically, lift the locking lever and turn downwards, remove the crimped  

  connector (figure 6)
