For checking the cover band:
Check the cover band after every 2000 km of operating distance.
Waves on the cover band are a sign of wear on the band diverter.
If there is any wave formation, retension the cover band as follows:
1. Loosen screws

2. Push the cover band into the cover.
3. Retighten the screws with 2 Nm.
If the cover band can no longer be retensioned, the wear on the band diverters is too great, and they
must be replaced (spare parts

8 Repair
Recommendation: Send the product to Festo's repair service if required.
This way the required fine tuning and tests will be taken into special consideration.
