Valve terminal type 10 with connection for the installation
local bus has been designed exclusivley for controlling
pneumatic actuators and is only suitable for use in Inter-
Bus installation local bus systems. The specified values for
pressures, temperatures, electrical data, tightening
torques, etc. must be observed here.
Installation local bus systems and valve terminals may
only be installed by specially qualified personnel. Details
on the design and on addressing can be found in the docu-
mentation for the InterBus. Further information can be
found in the detailed manual and in the Pneumatics man-
ual P.BE-CPV-.... .
Warning
S
Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S
Connect an earth conductor of sufficient cross-sec-
tional area to the terminal marked with the earth
symbol.
S
Commission only a valve terminal which has been
fitted and wired completely.
If to be used as an explosion-protected operating de-
vice, make sure that:
S
electrical contacts are not disconnected under ten-
sion
S
the completely fitted valve terminal with all plugs,
adapters and protective caps complies at least with
protection class IP 64.
