Repair work on the device can only be performed in the factory.

Opening the module without permission makes the warranty null and void.

Maintenance

5.1

Replacement of a module

Note

Plug-in connections of the CMGA module must not be disconnected or reconnected

when powered. There is a danger of sensor damage, particularly with connected posi-

tion or speed sensors.

The following should be noted when replacing a module:

1. Remove power supply

2. Remove Profibus connecting cable

3. Take the module off the H-rail and pack it EMC-compliantly.

4. Attach the new module onto the H-rail.

5. Set Profibus address (see address of the previously installed module)

6. Plug in Profibus connecting cable

7. Activate power supply via rear-wall bus connector
