STARTING
REGULATING THE AIR FLOW
When the appliance is powered, the baffle will set at a preset angle.
Press the "
" key (
Fig. 1
) to regulate the flow of air issued by the interior unit.
Press the key once and the baffle will continue to move, mixing the ambient air.
Press the "
" key a second time and the baffle will lock.
CLOCK PROGRAMMING
The time adjustment must be made when the batteries are inserted.
The remote control displays the adjustment and the clock face flashes (Fig.2) until
the new time has been entered.
The time setting is regulated with keys + e - :
- press the keys once to increase/decrease the time setting by 1 minute
- press the keys for one and a half seconds to increase/decrease the time setting
by 10 minutes
TIMER PROGRAMMING
-The
TIMER ON
and
TIMER OFF
( Fig.3) keys can be used to select two time set-
tings, the first for when the air conditioner comes on and the second for when it
switches off.
Proceed in the following way to program the time settings.
1-
Press the
TIMER ON
key once to select the time when the air conditioner
comes on.
The time setting is regulated with keys + e - :
- press the keys once to increase/decrease the time setting by 1 minute
- press the keys for one and a half seconds to increase/decrease the time setting
by 10 minutes
- press the keys for a longer time to increase/decrease the time setting by 60 minutes
Press the
TIMER ON
key again to confirm the time setting.
Press the
TIMER ON
key a third time to cancel the setting.

TIMER OFF
key once to select the time at which the air conditioner
must switch off.
The time setting is regulated with keys + e - :
- press the keys once to increase/decrease the time setting by 1 minute
- press the keys for one and a half seconds to increase/decrease the time setting
by 10 minutes
- press the keys for a longer time to increase/decrease the time setting by 60
minutes
Press the
TIMER OFF
key again to confirm the time setting.
Press the
TIMER OFF
key a third time to cancel the setting.
Note:
- In feel mode no temperature will be displayed.
- It may occur that no air is expelled from the unit while it is in operation.
- The unit will not always start operating immediately after the mode has been changed.
AUTO MODE OPERATING
During the AUTO function, the unit selects automatically
HEATING, DRY, FAN, COOLING
depending on the room tem-
perature at the time the selection takes place.
To start the AUTO mode:
First switch on the air conditioner and then select the AUTO operation by the
MODE
key.
The automatic operating mode selection and temperature are determined by the indoor temperature, according the following table:
