Inspecting the grass trimmer
Inspect the grass trimmer at regular intervals to ensure it is in good condition. Among
other things, check to ensure:
− that the switches are not damaged,
− that the accessories are in proper condition,
− the screw connections are tight,
− the vents are unobstructed and clean. If applicable, use a soft brush to clean them.
If you identify any damage, you must have it repaired by a specialist
workshop to prevent risks.
Storage
− Clean the grass trimmer as described in the chapter “Cleaning the grass trimmer”.
− Store the grass trimmer in a dry, dark, frost-free place out of the reach of children.
The ideal storage temperature amounts to 5–30 °C.
− Store the grass trimmer in its original packaging.
Transport
− Grasp the grass trimmer with one hand on the handle

and the other hand on
the additional handle

Do not carry the grass trimmer by the motor housing

− Secure the grass trimmer to prevent it from slipping when transporting it in a
vehicle.
− If possible, use the original packaging for transport.
