Fitting & adjusting the shoulder straps (2)
1) Ensuring the straps (2) are not tangled or crossing over, connect the clip
at the end of each shoulder strap (2) onto the shoulder strap connection
point(s) (29) located on each side of the blower respectively, on the
bottom of the plastic harness (21) at the rear of the blower. (See Fig. N1)
2) It is recommended to extend the shoulder straps (2) to their full length by
using the adjustment tab before putting the blower on your back, then
the tabs only need to be tightened to fit. (See Fig. N2)
3) Place the shoulder straps (2) over each shoulder so that the 2 padded
shoulder straps (2) are located on your front side. The padded harness
(22) is secure against the middle of your back, and the top of the plastic
harness (21) is resting on your shoulder blades. (See Fig. N3)
Blowing
Start the blower engine, as previously described. Carry the blower on your
back, hold and control the blower tube firmly with one hand about 10–
20cm from the ground and move it in a sweeping motion from left to right,
directing the debris to the desired location.
• Use low throttle settings when clearing lightweight materials from
around lawns or shrubbery.
• Use medium to higher throttle settings to move lightweight grass or
leaves from driveways or paths.
• Use full throttle when moving heavy loads such as dirt.
IMPORTANT:
• Blower noise increases at higher throttle settings.
• Always use the lowest throttle setting required to get the job done.
• Never operate the blower unless it is properly assembled and in good
