1.7 Compliance
SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS
When properly installed and used with appropriate additional Ferno
products, the fastening system meets or exceeds the following
specifications and standards listed below.
Standards and specifications are updated periodically. Current
guidelines are available from these organizations.

Safety Information
How to Meet SAE J3027
U.S.A. SAE J3027 Recommended Practice requires all three
elements to be present together:
1. Compliant ambulance cot or transport system
2. Compliant fastening system (cot/litter retention
system)
3. Compliant restraint system
Notee:
The 35X-ST or POWERFlexx-ST must be equipped with
mounting posts to accept the Model 417-3 patient restraint
system.
