4.3 Applying the straps
TORSO STRAPS

To apply the torso straps:
1. Place (Figure 15) the small buckle of the first torso strap on the left of the rescue bag (3, Figure 14) in the large buckle of the
first torso strap on the right of the rescue bag (1, Figure 14).
2. Follow instructions in “
Securing the straps
”, page 10.
Torso straps are positioned so that they can be crossed easily
by the operator.
Torso straps are numbered in this manual to make application
easier (Figure 14). They are numbered clockwise (from the
operator’s point of view).
3. Place the small buckle of the second torso strap on the left of the rescue bag (4, Figure 14) in the large buckle of the second
torso strap on the right of the rescue bag (2, Figure 14). Fasten the strap by following instructions in “
Securing the straps
”, page
10, and position it so that the two torso straps are crossed.
4. Adjust the straps (Figure 17). To adjust the straps see “
