4.2 - Head immobiliser application

1. Slightly lift the patient's head to position the head immobiliser base (Figure 2A). During this operation, make sure to keep

the patient's head aligned.

2. Place the head immobiliser base under the patient's head. During this operation, make sure that the base is correctly

centred.

3. Apply the side blocks on the clavicle, making them adhere to the patient's head.

4. Apply both forehead and chin straps.
