REAR PANEL
M. IEC POWER INLET:
Connect included power cord to a grounded
outlet in accordance with input power voltage and frequency
speci fi ed beside inlet. Universal 100V-240V operation.
N. POWER: Turns ampli fi er on and o ff .
O. MUTE: Mutes power amp. When in MUTE mode, XLR line output
remains active for studio or “quiet stage” use, and POWER JEWEL
(L) illumination changes from red to amber.
P. OUTPUT POWER: Selector switch o ff ers full power (22 watts) and
fi ve other attenuated wattage settings that tailor room/venue
overall loudness. Set amp front-panel channel volume to personal
preference for tube-emulated response, then set OUTPUT POWER
to preferred level.
Q. CABINET SIM: When using XLR BALANCED LINE OUTPUT (T), this
switch o ff ers three di ff erent tonal options—a fl at, uncolored amp
signal without speaker cabinet emulation (OFF); and two impulse
response (IR) pro fi les emulating di ff erent speaker/microphone-
placement combinations (1 and 2).
R. BALANCED LINE OUTPUT LEVEL:
Adjusts output level of XLR
BALANCED LINE OUTPUT (T) for external devices and systems (i.e.,
PA and recording gear), whether mic or line level.
S. GROUND LIFT: When using the XLR BALANCED LINE OUTPUT (T),
engaging this button may eliminate hum or buzz resulting from
connection to improperly grounded equipment.
T. XLR BALANCED LINE OUTPUT: For balanced connection to
external devices and systems (i.e., PA systems and recording gear).
XLR line output remains active when amp is in MUTE mode (O).
U. FOOTSWITCH:
Connect included two-button footswitch for
reverb and tremolo on/o ff here.
V. USB PORT (NOT SHOWN):
For fi rmware updates, a USB port is
located on the underside of the chassis beneath the OUTPUT
POWER section. Visit fender.com/ fi rmware/support for periodic
fi rmware updates that improve and enhance the Tone Master
experience.
