OUTPUT JACK
Low-impedance output connects to amp or next pedal in signal chain.
INPUT JACK
High-impedance input for electric guitar, bass, acoustic guitars with
pickup systems, keyboards and other instruments.
DC POWER CONNECTOR
Connect DC adapter here. Standard center-negative 9VDC jack for use
with appropriate power supplies.
MANUAL CONTROL KNOB
Manually adjusts flanger delay time.
RATE CONTROL KNOB
Adjusts modulation rate from 0.1Hz to 10Hz.
DEPTH CONTROL KNOB
Adjusts modulation depth (the range of the “sweeping” sound) from 0
to 100 percent. Lower settings produce a more subtle effect; higher
settings produce a more dramatic effect.
RESONANCE (RES) SWITCH
Three-position switch adjusts amount of resonance (feedback), more of
which makes the harmonic sweeps more apparent and hence the
flanging effect more intense. Light resonance produces a chorus effect;
heavy resonance produces a stronger whoosh/jet engine-type sound.
Switch positions are Heavy (up), Medium (middle) and Light (down).
TYPE SWITCH
Two-position switch adjusts feedback polarity. Positive polarity (up)
adds harmonics (even more so with heavier Resonance switch settings);
negative polarity (down) removes harmonics.
