the appliance to complete the process. During this process, the appli-

ance occasionally produces pumping and clicking sounds.

When the Auto Calc Clean process is completed, the descaling indicator 

goes off. The appliance will enter to the normal operation mode auto-

matically.

3. 

Remove the water tank and empty out the drainage.

4. 

Refill the water tank and replace it in position. The Auto Calc Clean pro-

cess is now finished and you can start ironing when the steam light is 

on continuously.

Note

: If you do not empty out the drainage in the collecting chamber of 

water tank, the tank will overflow during the next Auto Calc Clean process.

Note

: During the Auto Calc Clean process, you can press and hold the Steam 

rate control button (for decreasing steam) for about 10 seconds to cancel 

this process. 

MANUAL CALC CLEAN PROCESS

The Auto Calc Clean system keeps the appliance sufficiently clean. However, 

you can also perform the Calc Clean process manually for additional clean-

ing.

1. 

Fill the water tank to the maximum level.

2. 

Press the power switch and the steam rate control button (for increasing 

steam) with one hand, and plug the power outlet with the other hand, 

one beep sound will be heard.

3. 

Press the power switch again, the descaling indicator will flash, the Auto 

Calc Clean process will begin.

4. 

Follow steps 1-4 of the Auto Calc Clean process described above

5. 

Note: The manual Calc Clean process can only be activated if the ap-

pliance is sufficiently cold. If the appliance is too hot for the manual 

Calc Clean process, the steam rate control button (for increasing steam) 

flashes and the appliance continues to heat up for use.
