On-Device Calibration Instructions
1. Navigate to setup>calibration
2. Enter the passcode to enter the
calibration menu (default is ‘1111’)
3. Select the sensor you wish to calibrate
4.
The display will prompt you to ‘setup
zero gas, press the measure button
when ready’. Either:
a. Attach the external chamber
with the proper consuming solid
for the sensor
b. Or, hook up 100% N
2
gas to the
intake of the instrument
5. During the set zero process the display
will show a countdown to completion
and the current concentration being
read by the sensor. The set zero
process will automatically run for 10
minutes.
6. Upon completion the display will switch
to read, ‘Please setup span gas, press
the measure button when ready.’
Attach the proper standard gas for the
calibration to the intake of the
instrument.
7. Wait 3-5 minutes for the CO
2
and O
2
sensors to stabilize or wait 7-10
minutes for the ethylene -sensors to
stabilize.
8. Use the up/down arrow keys to adjust
the concentration displayed on the
