Switching ON/OFF (5).

First check that the cable and plug are
not damaged.

Switching the power tool ON:
■
Press switch (5).
Switching the power tool OFF:
■
To turn off, release switch.
Locking for continuous mode:
■
While the switch (a) is depressed,
press the locking button (b).
■
To release, press switch (a) again and
then let go.
ASge 636:
Switching the power tool ON:
■
Press switch (5). Speed according to
how far the switch is pressed in.
Switching the power tool OFF:
■
To turn off, release switch.
Locking for continuous mode:
■
When the switch (a) is fully pressed in
(= maximum speed) press the locking
button (b).

To release, press switch (a) again and
then let go.
Changing the clamping chuck (4).
Risk of injury
by switching the tool ON unintentionally.
Before changing the tool, pull out the mains
plug.
■
Insert the wedge drifts between the
clamping chuck and drilling shaft con-
necting collar.
■
Press in the wedge drifts against each
other - the clamping chuck detaches
from the drilling shaft.
■
Before mounting the clamping chuck,
remove any grease from the drilling shaft
and inner cone of the clamping chuck.
■
Push the clamping chuck firmly onto
the drilling shaft.
Changing the tool.
Risk of injury
by switching the tool ON unintentionally.
Before changing the tool, pull out the mains
plug.
Jaw chuck (1).
First insert the tool into the jaw chuck and
clamp loosely on the square shaft. Then
centre using the knurled nut (warning:
lefthanded thread!). Tighten the threaded
spindle firmly.
Collet chuck (2).
The tool fixation on the collet chuck is
effected by the appropriate collet to
match the drilling diameter.
Cleaning and care.
Risk of injury
by switching the tool ON unintentionally.
Before cleaning, pull out the mains plug.
Carry out the following once a week, or
more often if the power tool is used more
frequently:

Clean the venting openings.
■
Blow out the motor space from outside
with dry compressed air.
