Operating instructions for construction

Overview.
1 Switch
For switching ON/OFF.

Set the maximum cutting depth.
4 Auxiliary handle
Always work using the additional
handle.
5 Locking button
Lock the drive when changing the tool.
6 Diamond disc
Only use the special diamond disc.
The protective guard is shown partly
opened.
7 Sole-plate for fixing the dust extractor
cage
For removing the dust extractor cage
pull towards the machine.
8 Fixation screws for the diamond disc
For changing the grinding tool.

regulations.
These operating instructions and the
enclosed safety instructions should be
kept carefully for later use and enclosed
with the power tool, should it be passed
on or sold.
Intended use.
This power tool is intended for:
commercial use in industry and trade,
for cutting plaster, brickwork, cement,
tiles and metal fixation straps especially
for removing old windows, for tile-work
and staircase construction,
for use only with the application tools and
accessories given in these operating
instructions or those recommended
by FEIN.
Safety instructions.
Risk of injury
Always work using the additional handle.
Only use a diamond disc with a per-
missible speed equivalent to at least
the no-load speed of the power tool.
Application tools running at overspeed
can fly apart and cause injuries.
Check the diamond disc before use. Only
use diamond discs that are in no way dam-
aged.
The mounted diamond disc must be able
to rotate freely.
Carry out a test run for approx. 30 sec-
onds when using a new diamond disc.
Only use a true-running diamond disc.
The diamond disc becomes very hot dur-
ing use.
Always use the protective guard
with the power tool. A protective
guard protects the user from any parts
breaking off the diamond disc and touch-
ing the application tool unintentionally.
