If the plug is not suitable for your socket outlets,
it should be cut off and an appropriate plug fitted
in its place by an authorised customer service
agent. The replacement plug should have the
same fuse rating as the original plug.
The severed plug must be disposed of to avoid a
possible shock hazard and should never be inser-
ted into a mains socket elsewhere.

Do not operate the charger in closed cup-
boards or near sources of heat.
Otherwise,
the charger may overheat and no longer func-
tion properly.

When it is not in use for a long period, re-
move the battery from the charger and pull
out the plug.
Saving energy protects the en-
vironment.

Remove the charger's plug from the plug
socket when carrying out cleaning.
There is
a risk of electric shock.
u
Do not screw or nail any signs or labels
onto the charger.
Damaged insulation offers
no protection against electric shocks. Use
stick-on labels instead.
