2.1 Connecting the data/clock interface:
The 3 outputs of the data/clock interface at X1 Pin 3 (OUT1, /CLS), Pin 5 (/DTT) and Pin 6 (/DTD)
are compatible to TTL. They are equipped with an internal 10 k
Ω
pull-up resistor.
2.2 IN1 (Power Saving Mode):
With X1 Pin 7 (IN1) and according configuration (see: "System Manual - ID RW Series, Standard
Readers" the power saving mode of the reader can be activated. To activate the power saving
mode input IN1 must be connected to GND (X1 Pin 1) of the reader.
The connection of extraneous voltage might damage the reader.
