2.1.2. Configuration using both Inputs
Figure 7 shows a configuration with two gates consisting of base antenna (B) and complementary
antenna (C).

The base antennas are connected to input IN1, and the complementary antennas to IN2. The
reverse is not possible, since protocols from the reader can only be received on IN1.
The corresponding gate outputs (e.g., output OUT1 on base antenna Gate 1 and output OUT2
complementary antenna Gate 1) are switched simultaneously. Only one gate can be active at a
time.
The protocols always contain the address of the multiplexer to be activated. This means that even
when using only one multiplexer, it must be addressed also (see
