Cherry Stone Cushion
for hot and cold application
Instructions for Use
Please read the following instructions and warnings carefully before using the cherry stone cushion for the first time.
Retain for future reference.
Hot application
If your cherry stone cushion has a removable plush cover, please first take the cherry seed bag out of the cover before heating.
Heating in the oven: Please put the cherry seed bag onto a plate or dish and heat it at the bottom level of the
pre-heated oven for approx. 3-5 minutes at a max. of 100 ° C. Make sure that the seeds are distributed evenly and as
flatly as possible within the bag. Please make sure that the grill is de-activated (if available).
Heating in the microwave: Please put the cherry seed bag for approx. 1 minute at a max. of 600 watt into the
microwave. At a power level of 800-1000 watts, the bag may only be heated for a maximum of 30 seconds. Make sure
that the seeds are distributed evenly and as flatly as possible within the bag. Make sure that the turntable tray of the
microwave is clean and rotates unhindered and that the microwave really switches off automatically after 60 seconds.
Please make sure that the grill is not activated (if available).
Please re-insert the cherry seed bag into the plush cover or wrap it into a cloth or thin towel – it is then ready for use.
Warning!
- Before use in a microwave oven, please make sure that a heating of cherry seed bags is not excluded in the
instructions for use of the manufacturer of your microwave.
- Only adults should operate the oven or microwave.
- It is essential that you adhere to the above application instructions for the power level / temperature and the heating times.
- Do not overheat. Too long heating, too high wattage or the use of the grill in the microwave or oven will end up in an
overheating of the pillow and may damage the bag, cause burns on the skin or lead to fire damages. Do not leave the
cherry stone cushion unattended when heating and check the temperature at the back of your hand before using it.
- Warning. Temperature may increase after removal from the oven or microwave.
- Please take care that there is enough time for the bag to completely cool down (to room temperature) between
2 applications. It can take up to 4 hours to cool down to room temperature. A frequent use in a very short time
period might bring the cherry stone in a state of glowing that could cause burns.
- Inspect the cherry seed bag at regular intervals for damage.
- Always check the seams of the cherry seed bag before use to prevent the risk of swallowing and choking from loose
cherry stones.
- After each use store in a dry and cooll place.
Cold application
If your cherry stone cushion has a removable plush cover, please first take the cherry seed bag out of the cover before
cooling. Please insert the cherry seed bag into an airteight plastic bag and put it then for about 2 hours into the fridge
or freezer. Please remove the cherry seed bag from the plastic bag then and re-insert it into the plush cover wrap or it
into a cloth ore thin towel – it is then ready for use.
Warning!
Extreme undercooling (permanent storage in the freezer) may also damage the cherry seed bag.
General Advice
This cherry stone cushion is intended to serve the well-being only and has no medical / therapeutical benefits. Never
use the cherry seed bag without plush cover, additional cloth or towel. Please avoid direct contact to the skin. Cherry
seeds are natural ingredients and not suitable for persons that suffer from allergies or from immunodeficiency. To be
used under adult supervision only. The manufacturer refuses any liability for damages that are caused by improper
use or a lack of supervision.
Care instructions:
Removable plush cover (if included): machine-washable at 30° C (please remove the cherry seed back before
washing). Cherry seed bag: surface clean with a damp cloth or sponge only and air dry afterwards. Do not immerse in
water.
