follow:
•
To properly install this light: you must
have a good understanding of automotive

use of safety warning equipment.
•
This product contains high intensity LED
devices. To prevent permanent eye

•
DO NOT install equipment or route

Do not attempt to activate or deactivate
light control while driving in a hazardous

A.
GENERAL.
The Model GL5 is a flush mount LED light designed to
be used in a flashing mode. Lens colors (amber, red, or blue)
are specified when ordering.
B.
INSTALLATION.
NOTE
For maximum coverage and effectiveness, the light
assembly should be mounted in a horizontal
orientation in pairs: one in front and one to the
side.
1.
Determine the desired mounting location. Using
the flange, scribe drill position marks on the mounting
surface for the 4mm mounting bolts. A 5-7/16" x 3-11/16"
rectangular hole is required for clearance. Center the
rectangular hole between the mounting holes.
CAUTION
Before drilling or cutting holes in ANY part of the
vehicle, be sure that both sides of the mounting
surface are clear of parts that could be damaged;
such as brake lines, fuel lines, electrical wiring or
other vital parts.
2.
Drill four mounting holes in the mounting surface.
Cut the clearance hole.
3.
Secure the light assembly to the mounting surface
using the supplied hardware as shown in figure 1.
C.
ELECTRICAL.
NOTE
The light is completely wired at the factory and
does not require additional internal wiring. All the
conductors necessary for control of all functions are
contained in the cable.
The basic light function of the unit must be controlled
by a user supplied flasher. Before proceeding, ensure that
the light assembly has been installed on the vehicle in
accordance with the instructions.
WARNING
Light system controls must be located so that
the VEHICLE and CONTROLS can be oper-
ated safely under all driving conditions.
