PANEL ASSEMBLY
The panel assembly is shown in Figure 6 .
The panel contains the operational controls. This includes the HMI touchscreen,
the adjustable reject flow valve (used to match product output with rated output),
and the adjustable recycle flow valve (used to match recycle flow to approximately
50% of rated output). The panel has flowmeters for product, reject, and recycle
flow. In addition, the panel has gauges for feed pressure and operating pressure.
The panel contains the electrical enclosure. The front of the enclosure
opens on hinges (after loosening the securing screws in the right top and
bottom corners). Inside are connections for power and the solenoid. The
wires feed into the enclosure through the cable grips on the sides.
The plumbing connections are located on the right side of the panel,
and the feed from filters is located on the bottom of panel.
The plumbing connections are:
• To Vessels – This is the post-filter, post-pump flow from panel to
inlet of pressure vessel set. Uses 3/8 inch, 250psi PE tubing.
• From Vessels – This is the reject flow from reject outlet of
vessels to panel. Uses 3/8 inch, 250psi PE tubing.
• Product Inlet – This is the product flow from product outlet
of vessel to panel. Use 3/8 inch, 125psi PE tubing.
• Reject Discharge – This is the post-recycle reject flow from
panel to discharge. Uses 1/2 inch, PE tubing.
• Product to Tank
– This is the product flow from panel to
product water tank. Uses 3/8 inch, 125psi PE Tubing.
