DESCRIPTION
All the VHA family is equipped with a new amplification module with TCP/
IP network interface. Based on the OCA ALLIANCE AES70 standard, it
communicates with the ‘INFINITO system management suite’ remote
control software and receives 24-bit 48-96Khz digital audio streaming
from all devices compatible with the ‘DANTE‘ standard. INFINITO is a true
revolution in the FBT world that enhances the user experience, reaching
new heights in terms of performance and simplicity! It is a software
platform that is fully developed in house by the FBT R&D team that
offers real time monitoring of the internal sensors and the status of the
connected devices, fast IN/OUT Vu-meters, controls of all the parameters,
group management and warnings readout. The module is contained in an
aluminium chassis with intelligent forced ventilation and is equipped with
an OLED display with encoder for parameter setting. A high-brightness
blue front LED allows remote identification of the device also in daylight.
The design of the VHA118SND has produced a unique low-end module
that is capable of generating extremely high levels of SPL for prolonged
periods. Using BEM finite element simulations, FBT has optimized
the woofer’s load volume, while careful study of the grille and the
assembly’s protective fabric have minimized acoustic impedance for a net
improvement in performance compared to previous models. The addition
of the VHA118SND extends the overall system frequency response to
30Hz, while the sub can support fully ground-stacked configurations
courtesy of special integrated mounting hardware .
The VHA 118SN model has the same characteristics of the VHA 118SND
model but does not include the Dante feature
