Identification in clock system

For small nuts (Fig. 10) the clock system can be used
for identification.

The 12 o'clock position is identified by a dot or the
manufacturer's symbol.

The strength class is identified by a dash (b).
Identification of UNF-threads

Screws
The screw head is marked with a stamped in, round
cavity 3 (Fig. 11).
Nuts
An uninterrupted series of stamped in circles parallel
to the axis of the nut on a hexagon area (2).
Studs and brake rods
At the outmost end a short end of the component is re-
duced to its core diameter (1).
