RAIDER HARPOON
Your Favre-Leuba watch has an automatic
movement. This means that the natural
actions of your wrist wind up the movement.
The movement, if fully wound, has a power
reserve of at least 38 hours so that you do
not have to wind the watch up every time you
take it off for a short period (e.g. over night).
WINDING THE WATCH

READING THE TIME
Example 1:
Time 12 p.m. or 12 a.m.
Example 2:
Time 2.15 a.m. or 2.15 p.m.
Example 3:
Time 5.30 a.m. or 5.30 p.m.
Example 4:
Time 9.45 a.m. or 9.45 p.m.
The crown at 4 o’clock (B) is screwed-in.
Release the crown by rotating it counter-

to set the
time. Turning the crown in the appropriate
direction moves both the minute hand (D)
and the hour indicator (C) so that the time
required can be set. Push the crown back
into position
1
and screw it by pressing
and simultaneously turning it clockwise into
position
0
.
SETTING THE TIME
Manual winding is necessary only when
you put your watch on for the first time or
after a lengthy period of not wearing it. To
do so, release the screwed-in crown (B) by
rotating it counterclockwise and thus moving
it to position
1
. Then turn the crown through
approximately 40 clockwise rotations to wind
the watch up fully. Then screw-in the crown
again by pressing and simultaneously turning
it clockwise into position
0
.
crucial in reading the time correctly. It points
to the minutes on the dial and to the current
hour on the rotating hour indicator (C) on the
edge of the dial.
