10 CAMERA CONTROL PROGRAM
The Camera Control Program provides a GUI interface that allows you to send and receive
control data and images from the camera. Below is an example dialog from the Windows version.
11 APPLICATION ENVIRONMENTS
In this section we will discuss several operating environments to give you an idea of what you
need to operate the camera with a PC.
11.1 USB operation
In this mode of operation needs the following items:
The camera and a lens
A power supply for the camera.
A USB cable
FastVision supplied USB software for your OS.
All of the above can be supplied to you by FastVision. The software (item #4) provides
two forms of access to the camera, via a library (DLL, or ActiveX control under Windows,
linkable library under other operating systems), and via the supplied application called
FastViewer.
