Thank you for purchasing the universal corner post assembly. When properly assembled and 

maintained, this product will provide years of reliable service. These instructions include helpful 

hints and important information needed to safely assemble and properly maintain the corner post. 

Please read these instructions 

before

 you begin. 

Corner post assembled in this example is for 

use with an 10' fence. Adjust dimensions as needed for the height of your fence.

REQUIRED TOOLS

The following list identifies the main tools 

needed for assembly.

Hammer and a block of hard wood  

• 

to drive ground post.
Tape measure, marker to mark hole 

• 

locations, and center punch.
Drill and 5/16" drill bit.

• 

Rubber mallet to install plastic plug.

• 

Small wrench set or an adjustable wrench 

• 

to tighten the 5/16" mounting bolts.
5/16" hex key wrench to  

• 

tighten the set screws 

for the 90° corner swivel.
Level and string line  

• 

(recommended).

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

An assistant is required during assembly. 

• 

Wear eye protection and gloves when handling the metal parts, driving the ground posts, and 

• 

drilling mounting holes. 
Verify that no underground pipe, electrical cables, utility service, or communication cables are 

• 

present before you drive the ground posts into the ground.
Contact local building officials to determine applicable codes and other related restrictions 

• 

before you begin.
