RELEASING PRESSURE FROM
THE RETURN HOSE
If you accidentally connect the pressure and return hose
the wrong way around, the pressure remaining in the re
-
turn line between the check valve and quick coupling will
prevent the oil from flowing through the valve. Pressure
can also accumulate in the return line during long-term
storage. Pressure in the hose prevents the quick coupling
from opening. If necessary, the pressure can be released
as follows:
Open the quick coupling carefully until the oil begins to
drip out of the coupling. Let the pressure drop slowly.
WARNING
You must absolutely wear protective
eyewear and gloves.
Exercise extreme caution, as the oil is
pressurised in the hose.
INSPECTION PRIOR TO USE
1. Check the oil level of the hydraulic oil reservoir.
2. Ensure that the 1/2” quick coupling is locked.
3. Do not pressurise the hydraulic system until the cont-
rol valve's 1/2" quick couplings have been connected
to the tractor's hydraulic system. (The arrow on the
pressure hose (P) indicates the direction to the valve
and the arrow on the return hose (T) indicates the
direction to the tractor.)
4. Ensure that the hoses move freely. Remove any
transport supports and bindings.
5. Learn the control valve functions.
