7.6.3.TURNING THE CHIPPER OFF IN
HYDRAULIC MOTOR USE
After turning the chipper
off wait for all movements
to stop; the disk will
continue to rotate by
flywheel momentum after
the
PTO
has
been
disconnected.
DANGER!
Never
disconnect
the
hydraulics
from
high
rpm’s. This will cause risk
of cavitation and might
damage
the hydraulic
motor. Check that no
sounds of cavitation emit
from the hydraulic motor.
CAUTION!
To prevent cavitation it is
very important to slowly
reduce the base machine
rpm’s to idle
before
disconnecting
the
hydraulics.
IMPORTANT!
7.7.PARKING THE CHIPPER

Ensure that the chipper is placed on a hard
level and horizontal surface.

Ensure that there is no material in the chipper
or in the feed chute except for the remainder
branch.
D
Clean the working area.
