If you do not wish to set the PROGRAM
time, and you wish to begin brewing your
coffee immediately, simply press the
ON/OFF Button. Your coffee will begin
brewing instantly. The LCD Display will
show the following to indicate it has begun
brewing. (Figure D.)
When the coffee brewing is complete, percolating will stop.
(Check the See-Thru Knob to see if coffee has stopped perking.) For
best flavor, remove the Coffee Basket, Coffee Lid, and the Pump Tube
when brewing is completed.
CAUTION! REMOVE PARTS CAREFULLY — PERCOLATOR BODY
AND PARTS WILL BE HOT!
When you are ready to serve the coffee, simply lift the Percolator off
the Power Base and take it directly to the table for convenient,
cordless serving.
Place the Percolator back on the Power Base to keep it warm.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always remove the Percolator Body from the Power
Base for cleaning. Let Percolator cool. Wash
Percolator Body with water and detergent. NEVER
IMMERSE BASE OF PERCOLATOR OR POWER
BASE IN WATER. The Cover, Basket, Basket Lid and
Pump Tube may be placed in the dishwasher.
NEVER WASH PERCOLATOR BODY OR
POWER BASE IN DISHWASHER.
Do not use any abrasive on polished stainless
steel Percolator or Power Base as you will scratch the surface.
Rinse all parts thoroughly and dry. Place Percolator back on Power Base.
Make sure the Washer at bottom of Pump Tube remains loose. If
coffee grounds lodge in this area, remove under running water or
with a wooden pick.
Washer must remain loose — remove coffee grounds if caught.
After Repeated Use:
Remove accumulation of oil and coffee stains
that may cause a bitter taste with a coffeemaker cleaner. Follow
package directions, filling with water to 1-1/2 inches from top.
Be sure to rinse well.
