Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.

Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let appliance cool completely before 
putting away. Loop cord loosely around appliance when storing.

Do not fill the water tank with hot water or corrosive cleaning agents which 
could cause damage. Distilled or filtered water is strongly recommended.

9. 

Always turn off and unplug the unit before refilling, draining or when it is empty or not in use.

10.  Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord, or if the appliance has been 

dropped or damaged. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble 
or attempt to repair the appliance, take it to a qualified service person for 
examination and repair. Incorrect reassembly or repair could cause a risk of 
fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when the appliance is used.

11.  Burns could occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use carefully when 

you turn a steam appliance upside down,there may be hot water in the reservoir.

12.  When touching the steam nozzle or the hot steam or tilting the unit, 

please be careful of the high temperature to avoid being scalded.

13.  When in use, this appliance will spray hot steam from its steam nozzle. To avoid 

injury from hot steam, do not aim the steam nozzle at people or pets.

14.  Only use accessories on your appliance. To use accessories rather than those provided 

by us may result in fire, electric or irreversible damage to the appliance.

15.  This appliance is not intended for use by children or near children and other persons 

whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge 
prevents them from using the appliance safely without supervision or instruction 
by a responsible person to ensure that they can use the appliance safely.

16.  Turn off, unplug and allow the appliance to cool down completely for at 

least 30 minutes prior to draining the water tank and storing.

17.  Do not use an extension cord. If an extension cord is used, the power cord must be more 

than 15A electrical current. Using any power cord under 15A may cause the electric 
wire to overheat. Do not share the extension cord with other electrical appliances.

Instructions for the Electrical Cord and Plug

1.

Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.

• 

DO NOT remove ground prong.

• 

DO NOT use an adapter.

• 

DO NOT use an extension cord.

This unit MUST be grounded.  In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding 
reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. 
This unit is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. 
The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.

WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric 
shock. 

If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, contact a qualified 

electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

4. 

A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting 
from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord. 

5. 

The manufacturer does not recommend using this machine in countries that do not 
support 120V AC even if a voltage adapter, transformer, or converter is in use.
