BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
USING
Before using for the first time, wipe the body of the appliance with a soft, dry cloth
and wash the blades with warm water and washing up liquid.
Rinse with clean water and dry carefully with a soft cloth.
Please refer to the paragraph on "Cleaning and Maintenance" for cleaning
precautions.
This hand blender is particularly suitable for preparing soups, sauces, mayonnaise and
baby food.
It is not suitable for hard and dry food and must not be used to make crushed ice,
caster sugar etc.
1.
Plug the power cable into a mains socket.

Vertically insert the hand blender into the mixing bowl or any other high-sided
recipient.
NOTE: To avoid splashing, do not switch the appliance on while the blending
unit is in the mixing bowl.

To switch the appliance on, press and hold the on/off button.
WARNING!
Do not insert a spatula or any other utensil into the recipient while the
appliance is being used. You can insert a spatula or another utensil into the recipient
only when the appliance has been switched off.
Do not use the appliance empty for longer than 15 seconds (without food) or for more
than 1 minute continuously.
Then leave the appliance to cool for a least 10 minutes before using again.

After use, unplug the appliance from the mains power.
NOTE: Between different preparations, you can rinse the blades by inserting the
blender into a high recipient filled with clean water. Switch the appliance on for a few
seconds.
