Comments
Aluminium tray May cause arcing. Transfer food into microwave-safe dish.
Food carton
May cause arcing. Transfer the food into a microwave-safe dish.
Metal handle
Metal shields the food from microwave energy. The metal trim
may come into contact with utensils, causing arcing.
Metal twist ties May cause arcing and could cause a fire in the oven.
Paper bags
May cause a fire in the oven.
Plastic foam
Plastic foam may melt or contaminate the liquid inside when
exposed to high temperatures.
Wood will dry out when used in the microwave oven and may split or crack.
Materials you cannot use in a microwave oven
INSTALLING THE TURNTABLE
COUNTER TOP INSTALLATION
a.
Never place the glass turntable upside down. The glass turntable should never be
restricted.
b.
Both the glass turntable and roller ring must always be used during cooking.
c.
All food and containers of food should always be placed on the glass turntable for
cooking.
d.
If the glass turntable or roller ring cracks, or the turntable shaft breaks, contact your
nearest authorized service centre.
Remove all packing material and accessories.
Examine the oven for any damage, such as dents or a broken door.
Do not install the oven if it is damaged.
Covering: Remove any protective film found on the microwave oven surface.
Do not remove the light brown Mica cover that is fitted to the oven interior,
to protect the magnetron.
